HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team will host three dual matches this week, playing Gonzaga (Jan. 13), No. 16 Mississippi State (Jan. 14), and UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 15). All contests will be played as dual matches.
MSU will feature No.32 singles player George Coupland as well as the nation's 12
th-ranked doubles tandem of Louis Cant and Malte Stropp. Start time for the 'Bows and Bulldogs is 10:00 a.m. UH and Gonzaga's match on Friday will begin at 3:00 p.m. and the UC Santa Barbara match will start at 10:00 a.m.
Hawai'i had a handful of quality wins this past weekend at the Rainbow Warrior Challenge.
Chas Okamoto won three of his four doubles and singles matches including a defeat of No.95 Tom Jomby. Freshman
Carter Lam won a third set tiebreaker in his first weekend of collegiate action, and
Jonathan Brooklyn swept No.111 Alejandro Gomez.
The upcoming contests will be UH's first collegiate dual matches of the season.
