HONOLULU – The No.11 University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team opens WAC play on the road this week, playing Idaho on Thursday, Sept. 22 and Utah State on Saturday, Sept. 24.
The Rainbow Wahine begin their quest for a 16th WAC title, and are currently undefeated in WAC openers. Freshman Jane Croson came off a fantastic weekend in two matches versus No.19 Pepperdine. She posted a combined 33 kills and 34 digs, recording a career-high 23 kills on Friday, the most for UH this season.
Kanani Danielson leads the team averaging 3.97 kills per set with Brittany Hewitt boasting a team-high 1.48 blocks per set.
Hawai'i holds a perfect 16-0 all-time record against Idaho, and is 40-9 overall versus Utah State. The 'Bows will be looking to avenge their loss to the Aggies in last season's WAC Tournament final.
