ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The University of Hawai`i women's sailing team captured the South Florida Intersectional held Feb. 19-20. The Rainbow Wahine totaled a regatta low 59 points, four points ahead of runner-up College of Charleston.

 

A total of 26 races were completed over the course of two days with eight teams competing. Hannah Tuson-Turner and Hanne Nagatani wrapped up the A division with a low of 28 points while Madeline Kennedy and Lani Johnson placed second in the B division with 31 points.

 

Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is the St. Mary's Women's Intersection in Maryland, March 19-20.
