The No. 42 University of Hawaii men's tennis team will head to Southern California with a trio of road matches beginning with No. 54 San Diego State on Tuesday, Feb. 22 followed by No. 44 San Diego on Thursday, Feb. 24 and ending at No. 60 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, Feb. 27.

 

First serve is at 2:30 pm PT (12:30 pm HT) at San Diego State's Aztec Tennis Center, 1:30 pm PT (11:30 pm HT) at San Diego's West Courts and 12:00pm PT (10:00 am HT) at UC Santa Barbara's Recreation Center Courts.

 

No. 44 San Diego is sure to be the Rainbow Warriors toughest competitors, providing two nationally ranked singles players -- No. 34 Dean Jackson and  No. 85 Clarke Spinosa, as well as a nationally ranked doubles team --  No. 22 Dean Jackson and Patrick Pohlmann.

 

UH (0-3) has had a slow start to the season playing against several nationally ranked teams, including No. 5 Texas, No. 14 Duke and No. 34 Alabama. Following the match against UC Santa Barbara, UH will return to Honolulu for two home matches, beginning with Loyola Marymount on March 2.
