Final Results
LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team concluded the Wolf Pack Classic, Tuesday, with a third round score of 301. The Warriors finished the tournament in 13th place (319-297-301=917).
Leading Hawai'i was
T.J. Kua, who shot under par for the second time this season with a two-under, 70, during the final round of competition. Kua finished the tournament tied for fourth place (75-73-70=218), which is the second best finish of his career.
Also competing for the Warriors were junior
Henry Park (79-74-76=229/t40th), sophomore
Tommy Yamashita (84-83-73=240/t74th), and freshmen
Brian Lee (83-69-83=235/t67th) and
Ryan Kuroiwa (82-81-82=245/79th).
San Jose State took the team title after being down 10 strokes to start the day (295-300-286=881). SJSU's Jay Myers took the team title at one-under par (72-73-70=215).
Hawai'i will tee it up again Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, when it hosts the Kaua'i Collegiate Invitational at the Puakea Golf Course in Lihue, Kauai'i.
