Biography

2012-13 (Senior): Competed in one tournaments…tied for 76th at the John Burns Intercollegiate with a 242 total…averaged 80.6 strokes per round…missed most of the season due to injury.
 
2011-12 (Junior): Competed in four tournaments…averaged 77.1 strokes per round…season-best 19th place finish at the Kaua‘i Collegiate Invitational, where he shot 6-over 222...tied for 67th at the Wolf Pack Classic with a 229 total. 

2010-11 (Sophomore): Competed in seven of 10 tournaments…ranked third on the team with a 76.6 strokes per round average…career-best ninth place finish at the Kaua‘i Collegiate Invitational (219) at the Puakea Golf Course, where he shot career-low round of 5-under 67 in the second round…tied for 26th at the WAC Championships (231), which included a final round 75.

2009-10 (Freshman): Competed in five tournaments…held an average of 81.2 strokes per round…shot a low 54-hole score of 221 at the John Burns Intercollegiate…best finish was a tie for 40th at the Giustina Memorial Classic.

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Kealakehe High School in Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i...lettered three years in golf...three-time All Big Island Interscholastic Federation first-team selection...three-time BIIF Individual Championship runner-up...earned third place in the 2009 Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association state tournament...winner of 2008 Makalei Amateur Championship and 2002 Westfield Junior PGA Championship in boys 11-12 division...tied for first in the 2005 O‘ahu Junior Golf Association Pearl Junior Open and 2003 Callaway Hawai‘i State Junior Championship in boys 13-14 division...tied for third at both the Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association’s Inaugural Mixed Team Championship and the U.S. Army Hawai‘i Amateur Invitational Golf Championship in 2008...graduated in the top-ten percent of his class...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Has one brother...parents are Ki Hee Park and Soon Hwa Kim of Waiakoloa, Hawai‘i.
