Final Results
WAIPI'O, O'ahu – In their final meet before the Western Athletic Conference Championships, the University of Hawai'i women's cross country team finished second at the Chaminade Invitational Saturday at Central O'ahu Regional Park.
Six UH runners placed in the Top 20 individually led by freshman
Ariana Horton, who completed the 3-mile race in 19:26, her first career Top 10 finish.
Behind her was junior
Megan Dart, who placed 11
th overall in 19:43. Sophomore
Evangeline Rehwaldt was 13
th at 20:20 followed by freshman
Heather Delgado (20:33, 17
th), freshman
Hayley Musashi (20:50, 18
th), and junior
Denise Nakamura (21:08, 20
th).
BYU-Hawai'i captured the team title with six runners placing in the Top 10 including individual winner Lacey Krout, who finished the course in 17:40. The Seasiders tallied 17 points followed by UH (66), Hawai'i Pacific (85), Chaminade (96), and UH-Hilo (104).
