HONOLULU – The No. 25 University of Hawai'i Warrior football team will finish the regular season by hosting UNLV, Saturday, Dec. 4 in a non-conference game at Aloha Stadium. Kick-off is 5:30 p.m.

Twenty-eight seniors will participate in the traditional Senior Walk festivities at the conclusion of the game.

The Warriors (9-3) have clinched at least a share of the Western Athletic Conference title after defeating New Mexico State, 59-24, last week in Las Cruces, N.M. In the win, running back Alex Green set a new single-game school record with 327 yards rushing on 19 carries and three touchdowns. He broke a 60-year old record set by Pete Wilson in 1950 and became the first UH running back to eclipse 1,000 yards in a season since Travis Sims in 1992. For his efforts, Green was named the WAC's offensive player of the week.

UH finished the WAC season with a 7-1 mark, securing at least a share of the WAC title for the fourth time in school history. Nevada (6-1) and Boise State (6-1) both close out their league schedules this week.

UNLV (2-10) only two wins this season have come against New Mexico and Wyoming. The Rebels have played a tough schedule this season which includes non-conference games against ranked opponents, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Nevada, and UH, in addition to Mountain West Conference foes TCU and Utah.

The game marks the fourth meeting in the last five years. The teams are scheduled to play six more times over the next seven years. UH leads the all-time series 12-7 despite a 34-33 loss last season in which the Rebels scored the game-winning touchdown with 34 seconds left.
