HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine soccer team (1-1-1) hosts the UAB Blazers (4-0-0) and the Pacific Tigers (2-1-0) this week in the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium.

 

The Rainbow Wahine will open the classic with UAB on Friday, Sept. 4, at 4 p.m. The Blazers will then take on Pacific on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m., before UH hosts the Tigers on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 5 p.m., in the finale.

 

Hawai'i is coming off its first win of the season, as the Rainbow Wahine beat Hawai'i Pacific 4-1 on Aug. 30. Senior Britta Bourne continued to be UH's offensive leader, scoring two goals to preserve the win.

 

Following the classic, the Rainbow Wahine will head out on a long road trip, playing four matches in southern California, ranging from Sept. 13-20.
