Britta Bourne scored two goals to lead the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Pearl City United in an exhibition match at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium Tuesday.
The Rainbow Wahine dominated the game, outshooting Pearl City United 20-4. Bourne, who ended the game with five shots, scored early on, hitting a 22-yard shot into the lower left corner of the goal in the 11th minute of the match. She then added another goal in the 61st minute as she toe-poked a shot into the upper right corner of the goal.
Hawai'i was able to play 19 players in the exhibition, with 11 different players getting shots. Senior

Mari Punzal both had three shots each.
Hawai'i will open the regular season on Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m., hosting No. 25 Brigham Young in the OHANA Hotels and Resorts No Ka 'Oi tournament. The Rainbow Wahine will then face No. 2 Stanford in the last day of the tournament on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 5 p.m.
