KAMUELA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team continued play at the UH-Hilo Invitational with Round 2 Thursday at the Mauna Lani's North Course. The Warriors are currently in 17
th place with a two-round score of 642 (314-328).
Hawai'i struggled throughout the day as each of its five golfers failed to break 80. Freshman #T.J. Kua# shot an 81 and has a two-round score of 157 (76-81), which is currently tied for 69
th place. Junior
Robert Berton's 80 in Round 2 placed him in a tie with freshman

th at 166.
Southern California jumped ahead of Washington in the team standings after shooting a 284 in Round 2. Their two-day total of 569 is four strokes better than first round leader Washington (573). Individually, Washington's Richard Lee (68-70) holds a two-stroke lead over Texas Tech's Garrett Merrell and Washington's Nick Taylor.
The tournament concludes on Friday with the third and final round.
