BOISE, Idaho – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine soccer team (6-11-1, 2-5-0 WAC) fell to the Boise State Broncos (9-6-4, 4-3-0) 2-1 at the Boas Tennis and Soccer Complex Friday.
UH got on the board first. Punzal scored on a long shot from 30 yards out, assisted by Shapka, going over the keeper in the 13th minute.
Hawai'i kept that lead until the second half. In the 67th minute, Boise State tied it up as Brandy Hickcox scored on a penalty kick.
The Broncos then took the lead in the 76th minute. Kaylea Perenon scored off a long cross, assisted by Chelsea Robinson and Maureen Fitgerald.
The team will conclude its season with a match at Idaho on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. (11 a.m. HST).
