HONOLULU – The University of Hawai`i women's soccer team makes its second road trip of the season, taking on three teams in three different cities over a six-day span. The Rainbow Wahine begin Friday, Sept. 26, against Portland State in Portland, Ore.
UH follows up the Portland State game with a Sunday, Sept. 28, game against No. 21 Washington in Seattle. The Rainbow Wahine finish the road trip against Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, Calif. on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The last time UH went on the road it played four games, going 2-1-1. Going into this three-game trip, the Rainbow Wahine will open with 1-8-1 Portland State, but follow that with two top-notch teams. Washington carries a 7-1 record and is ranked No. 21 and Cal State Fullerton is 4-4-1, but is coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance a year ago.
The Rainbow Wahine enter the week with a 3-3-2 overall record after beating No. 23 UC Santa Barbara and playing to a 0-0 tie against Montana last week at home.
