Game Notes
HONOLULU – The University of Hawai`i women's soccer team returns home to host the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Soccer Classic beginning Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
The Rainbow Wahine welcome Montana and No. 23 UC Santa Barbara to the island for the three-day classic. UH opens against Montana at 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by Montana and UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19. The classic concludes at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, when UH faces Santa Barbara.
UH enters the week with a 2-3-1 record after going 2-1-1 on a four-game road trip last week. Montana carries a 1-5 record, while UC Santa Barbara is ranked No. 23 and is 5-2 on the season.
Both of UH's games this week will be aired live on KFVE (Channel 5), with John Fink doing play-by-play and Laurie Baker handling color commentary.
