HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team finished the 2008 season ranked No. 10 in the NCAA Statistics in team fielding, finishing the year with a fielding percentage of .975.
The 'Bows were the top fielding team in the Western Athletic Conference, led by ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove shortstop Jonathan Hee. Hee finished the season with a fielding percentage of .985 at the middle infield position, committing just five errors on 324 chances.
Hawai'i took second place in the WAC standings, ending with a record of 18-14 in conference play, going 29-31 overall.
