HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team makes a quick turnaround and will face Utah Valley on Tuesday night, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. The Rainbow Wahine are coming off three games in three days during the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic.
UH will be playing its fourth game in five days as it hosts Utah Valley, who is in its first year at the Division I level. The Rainbow Wahine are looking for their first victory of the season after playing two ranked teams in back-to-back games.
The Rainbow Wahine enter the game 0-6, while Utah Valley carries a 2-3 record. During the tournament this past weekend, UH was led by a combination of players.
Megan Tinnin scored a season-high 19 points against No. 19 Purdue, while
Sarah Ilic recorded a career-high 15 points against No. 5 Stanford.
Following Tuesday night's game, the Rainbow Wahine head to Tempe, Ariz. to participate in the Arizona State Tournament. UH will face Northern Arizona on the first day, Dec. 6 at 4:30 p.m. MT.
