The University of Hawai`i men's tennis team will travel to Wailea, Maui to compete in a mock dual match against national and Pac-10 powerhouse, Stanford on Tuesday, November 25. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Wailea Resort.
The dual match results will not count toward either team's record, however, individual results for singles and doubles will count.
The Rainbow Warriors had strong performances throughout the fall season, competing in the prestigious All-American Championship, the ITA West Regionals and USTA Pro Circuit Futures events in Waikoloa, Hawai`i and in Honolulu.
The Rainbow Warriors have three players ranked in the latest ITA singles rankings. Senior
Sascha Heinemann is ranked No. 53. Junior
Andreas Weber is No. 76 and sophomore
Dennis Lajola is ranked No. 89. Lajola leads the team with a 6-2 singles record.
Stanford has three singles players and one doubles team ranked in the ITA preseason rankings, including No. 4 Alex Clayton. Clayton was selected ITA National Rookie of the Year, earned All-American honors in singles, and reached the semifinals of the NCAA Singles Championships.

Recapping the Honolulu Futures
In the USTA Honolulu Futures tournament, seven of the nine Rainbow Warriors competed in this individual singles and doubles tournament. 2007 Honolulu Futures Champion
Dennis Lajola was upset in the second round of the main draw.
Sascha Heinemann earned a spot in the main draw by winning two matches in the qualifying draw, but ended up losing in the first round of the main draw.
Andreas Weber reached the qualifying finals. Junior

Chad Rubin all lost in the first round of the qualifying draw.
