Game Notes

HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team opens the 2008-09 season Friday, Nov. 14 in the first game of the Bank of Hawaii Invitational. The three-day tournament will be held at UH-Hilo on the island of Hawai`i with games played in the Hilo Civic Center.

The Rainbow Wahine open against Loyola Marymount at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14. UH faces Toledo on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. and Arizona at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16. This is the first time the Rainbow Wahine are hosting a tournament on the island of Hawai`i.

UH returns seven letterwinners from last season, including three starters and look to get off to a strong start in Hilo. Loyola Marymount finished last season 15-15, Toledo was 14-16 and Arizona finished 10-20.
