Boise, ID --The University of Hawai`i men’s tennis team lost, 4-0 in the opening round to No. 40 Fresno State at the Western Athletic Conference Championship, Friday, April 25. The Warriors will not be advancing to the next round of play.
Fresno State captured the win after winning the doubles point and three of six singles matches. On the No. 3 doubles court, the team of Reginaldo Moralejo and Francisco Brignole beat out Fresno’s Alex Krohn and Andy Sinn, 8-6.
Senior Malino Oda finished his final season with a 12-12 record, losing his final match to Stefan Suta, 6-1, 6-0. Reginaldo Moralejo completed the season with the teams best record at 18-8. The Warriors end their season with a 14-13 record.
