San Francisco - At the Olympic Club in San Francisco, the Warrior tennis team (1-4) fell to the University of San Francisco Dons (5-3). Despite a valiant effort, the Dons handed the Warriors a 5-2 loss for the first time in fifteen years.

Hawai`i's Sceats and Diepraam captured the number 2 doubles match 8-6. But lost their two other matches in spite of fine performances.

On the singles side, Ryan Sceats (UH) defeated Christian Dyvik (USF) in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6(4). Reg Moralejo captured the only other match for the Warriors, 6-3, 3-6 (10-8). The Dons were too much for the Warriors; despite a bold effort UH lost their first match of a nine-day road trip 5-2.

Next the Warriors travel to Sonoma State to face the Seawolves, February 8.
