The Wahine opened the second period in strong fashion, building their first attack in the first 15 seconds of play. Devitt ran onto a long through ball from midfielder Mia Moe, who sent the ball into the Oregon State defensive third. The Wahine had a certain scoring opportunity at 66:16, when they were awarded a penalty kick after Joelle Sugai was taken down in the Oregon State penalty box on an attack. But Erin Quattromani's shot was deflected wide right out of bounds by Beaver keeper Fletcher, to keep the score, at 1-0, Oregon State.
