RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Hawai`i swept all three doubles and five of six matches in its 6-1 victory over UC Riverside, Wednesday, at the Student Recreation Center Courts. The Warriors improve to 14-8 on the season, and are currently 3-2 on its 10-day road trip.
The Warriors’ only loss was by No. 2 singles Justin Menolascino, who retired after falling behind, 7-6, 3-0 in his match with Walt Hearn. UH’s other singles players all swept their matches, including junior Reginaldo Moralejo, who easily dispatched of Brent Davis, 6-4, 6-1 in the No.1 singles position.
