SAN DIEGO - The University of Hawai`i completed its eight-game road swing winning the final four games in the Aztec Invitational today with a shutout of host San Diego State, 4-0.
UH's Melissa Coogan (1-1) went the distance allowing a season-low two hits while striking out four and walking two.
Kate Judd again supplied the offense going 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run and drove in two. Trisha Ramos and Jennifer Tandarich also had RBI singles.
Hawai`i (5-3) wins its fourth straight and returns home to host the Chevron Paradise Classic next week.
San Diego State (4-5), which came into the week ranked No. 23, dropped both games in the tournament to UH finishing 2-2.
