Rico Nakashima joined the University of Hawai‘i Athletics Department in September 2017.
 
Nakashima currently holds the position of Assistant Arena Manager since 2017. In his role, Nakashima is responsible for running daily operations and events at the Stan Sheriff Center.
 
Born and raised in Hawai’i, the Makiki native earned his degree in kinesiology and rehabilitation sciences from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa in 2013.
