Lois Manin serves as Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations and Senior Woman Administrator. Her main responsibilities include the oversight of human resources, business operations, legal affairs, and facilities and events management. She also serves as Deputy Athletics Director managing the Department’s day-to-day operations.
The Honolulu native is well-traveled in the Department having overseen almost every area. She entered the Department in 1991 as Assistant Sports Information Director and was promoted to Director in 1995, where she remained for 12 years.
In 2007 Manin moved to Aloha Stadium where she served as Deputy Stadium Manager for close to nine years managing the daily stadium operations for ticketing, events, maintenance and human resources, administration of the swap meet and marketplace and food and beverage contracts, and assisted in capital improvement projects.
Manin returned to UH as Director of Football Operations in 2016 before taking on Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services duties where she oversaw Compliance, Student-Athlete Services, including but not limited to financial aid and student-athlete development.
She also represents UH in the Big West Conference and is currently in her second year as chair of the Senior Women Administrators while also on the Conference's Executive Committee.
Manin is a graduate of Colorado State University where she played Division I softball for four years.
