David Estermann joined the University of Hawai‘i Athletics Department in July 2006.
Estermann assumed COO duties for ‘Ahahui Koa Anuenue in 2022 and continues to perform as Director of Premium Seating and Parking, a role he has held since 2014.
Estermann was previously a teacher and football coach at Federal Way High School in Federal Way, Wash., from 2004-06.
The Honolulu native attended the University of Puget Sound, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs in 2003 and Master of Arts in Teaching in 2004. Estermann also earned an Executive MBA in 2013 from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Shidler College of Business.
Estermann was a three-year letterwinner in football at Puget Sound and served as wide receivers coach in 2003.
He and his wife, Jackie, currently reside in Honolulu with their two daughters.
