Chris Kumagai joined the University of Hawai‘i Athletics Department in February 1997.
 
Kumagai currently holds the position of IT Specialist.
 
The Hawai‘i native graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in music in 1993.
 
He currently resides in Pearl City with his wife Carol, and son Archer.
