University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

Candice Vorbeck enters her second year with the University of Hawai‘i women’s water polo program as associate head coach with the Rainbow Wahine. Vorbeck has coached on the collegiate level for the past seven years and joined the Rainbow Wahine for the 2025 season. She rose quickly in the coaching ranks, ascending to head coach at the University of the Pacific for the 2024 season. She previously spent a season in the Big West as an assistant coach at CSUN in 2023 and began her collegiate coaching career at Pomona-Pitzer.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

• Led Pacific to a 16-11 season, including a 4-3 mark in the Golden Coast Conference, as head coach in 2024.
• Helped CSUN post its highest win total in nine years with a 17-13 campaign as an assistant coach in 2023.
• Helped Pomona-Pitzer capture two Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular-season championships and a conference tournament title, and was part of the 2018 SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year.
