Kiran Costa enters his second season as an assistant coach and fourth year overall with the Rainbow Wahine volleyball program.
Costa earned a degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science from the University of Hawai‘i in 2023 while also serving as a volunteer with the women’s volleyball team. He was elevated to assistant coach in 2024.
He also works as performance coach at MAR Sports Performance Training in Honolulu.
Costa was a decorated student-athlete at Kapa‘a High School on Kaua‘i in soccer and volleyball. He was named the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation Player of the Year in both sports as a senior in 2019 and was inducted into the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor. He also earned Fab 15 All-State honors from the Honolulu Star-Advertiser in volleyball and was the part of the Stellar 11 soccer team after helping lead Kapa‘a to the Division II boys soccer state championship.
