Biography

2008-09 (Senior): One of three Rainbow Wahine to tally a winning record in singles play...went 14-12 in dual matches while playing the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 positions...played majority of matches at No. 3 and 4 where she was a combined 10-10...was 4-1 in three-set matches... clinched UH’s win over New Mexico State with a straight-set win over Natalia Salum Soto of at the No. 5 position as the Rainbow Wahine advance to the WAC semifinals for the first time in school history... finished with a 12-13 record in doubles... teamed with Anja-Vanessa Peter for 14 doubles matches, winning three of final four contests on the season.

Prior To UH: Played tennis for the University of Washington for three years…was most improved in 2005-06 and won the sportsmanship award in 2006-07…recorded 23 singles victories and 25 doubles wins in three years.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of West Seattle High in Seattle, Wash...earned three letters in tennis and two letters in basketball...2002 singles Metro champion, district champ...2003 singles metro, district state champion...attended the University of Washington for three years...named the 2005-06 most improved player and won the 2006-07 sportsmanship award.

Personal: Born in Seattle, Wash...majoring in sociology...has one sister...parents are Diane and Randy Wong of Seattle, Washington.
