2024-25 (Junior):

• Competed in four meets
• Earned gold in the 100 back with a time of 54.07 against Grand Canyon
• Also earned gold in the 200 back with an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:56.70 against Grand Canyon
• Swam a personal best in the 50 free with a time of 23.85 at the SMU Invitational

Prior to UH:

• Competed for two seasons at LSU
• 2023 SEC Champion in the 200-yard backstroke with a school record time of 1:51.74
• Won the 100-yard backstroke (55.30) in a dual meet with Florida State (Nov. 4, 2023)
• Placed first in the 200-yard backstroke (1:56.68) and fourth in 100-yard backstroke (55.50) in a dual meet with Texas A&M (Nov. 15-17, 2023)
• Finished 41st at the NCAA Championships in the 200-back (1:55.13) and 46th in the 100-back (53.29)
• Earned bronze at the Canadian Trials as a freshman
• Member of Team Canada’s swim team (2023)
• Nominated to swim at the Pan Am games in Chile (2023)

Prep:

• A 2022 graduate of St. Mary’s HS located in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta

Personal:

• Majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies and Wildlife Conservation
• Has a younger sister
• Parents are Kara Varga and Tyrone Varga of Calgary, Alberta
