Richard Lash begins his first season as assistant coach for the University of Hawai‘i women’s golf program.
Lash was a teammate with current UH head coach Stephen Bidne at the University of Northern Colorado from 2006-10, where he earned a degree in recreation management.
A native of Dillon, Colo., Lash attended high school at IMG Academy, an integrated academic and athletic college preparatory school for golf and other sports in Bradenton, Fla.
In 2012, Lash earned conditional status on the Alps Tour in Europe. He addition, he was medalist at U.S. Open qualifying tournament in Denver, Colo., in 2016.
Lash is currently pursuing Class A membership for the PGA of America and is very active in their section and national tournaments.
