Olivia Smoody is in her first season with the track and field program as a student assistant. Her responsibilities include assisting the coaching staff during practice and meet preparation.
Smoody earned three letters as a member of th etrack team from 2002-2004. She captured the silver medal in high jump at the WAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in 2002, and qualified for the NCAA Championships in 2003. In 2004, Smoody posted a second place finish in the high jump at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational.
A native of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, she is currently completing her undergraduate studies at UH.
