Both losses came in three-set nail-biters.

Among the wins were sweeps over the No. 2 pair of top-ranked UCLA and No.3 LSU during the opening weekend of the season.
Named Best Defender in the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic.
Along with Scoles, earned Big West Pairs Team of the Week after winning four of five matches against an elite field in the season-opening tournament.

Father Albert “Al-B” Hanneman played for the UH men’s volleyball team (1991-93), played 18 years professionally on the AVP tour and is the director of Club Med NVL Academy in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Parents are Albert and Lisa Hannemann of Redondo Beach, Calif.
