Keoki Shupe is in his seventh season with University of Hawai‘i women’s beach volleyball squad as a video coordinator and equipment manager. His main duties include video production and analysis and helping maintain the newly-opened, on-campus sand volleyball practice courts
 
A software engineer by trade, Shupe has been involved in the local beach volleyball scene for nearly two decades. Since 1996 he has served as director of the O‘ahu Volleyball Association which has cultivated countless players through tournaments ranging from boy’s and girls juniors to men’s and women’s open divisions.
 
Shupe also served as a coach for the Aloha Beach Volleyball Club for more than two years. The club—whose mission is to introduce island youth to the sport at an early age and provide them an activity to fight childhood obesity and other health related concerns—was publicly recognized by the Honolulu City Council in January 2014.
 
The Honolulu native has also served as a coach and instructor for Extreme Fitness Club since 2007.
 
Shupe is a graduate of Punahou School and earned his B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993.
