Biography

2004 (Senior): Played in 96 games and started two matches…recorded 40 kills and 200 digs on the season…also added 42 assists and 29 blocks…posted a season-high seven kills along with 12 digs at Utah State (11/23)…had a season-high 20 digs at Southern Methodist (10/16)…tallied five kills and 17 digs vs. Wisconsin (12/10).

2003: Redshirted.

Hawaii Pacific University: Played two years under former Rainbow Wahine All-American Tita Ahuna...earned second-team all-conference honors both years.

Eastern Arizona College: Played one year under Jerry Hekekia...earned all-region and all-conference honors.

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Kahuku High School in Kahuku, Oahu...played four years of volleyball and four years of basketball...named all-OIA East three years in both volleyball and basketball...also a member of the national honor society...earned both honor roll

Personal: Born in Honolulu...majoring in biology...favorites include Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock and the color purple...has four brothers, Nick, 31, Nelson, 26, Joseph, 24, and Jared, 19; and two sisters, Nerisha, 32, and Uila, 30...parents are Toeumu and Sione Fotu of Laie, Oahu.
