Assistant coach David Lam enters his second season with the University of Hawai‘i men’s tennis team.
Lam rejoins head coach Hendrik Bode’s staff after serving as an assistant coach at Hawai‘i Pacific University for two seasons . Lam comes to UH with over 20 years of tennis coaching experience and is a USPTA Certified Instructor. He is also the acting tennis director of the Beretania Tennis Club
Lam competed for the University of San Francisco where he played No. 1 singles and doubles. Prior to matriculating to USF, Lam was a standout point guard and tennis player at Punahou School. Lan also was the No. 1 singles and doubles Open player in Hawai‘i.
