University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

Stefon Lyons begins his first season with the Rainbow Warrior staff. Lyons will assist with video breakdown, scouting, recruiting, practice preparation, and player development. He’ll also work with the Manoa Maniacs, UH’s student spirit organization. 

Lyons comes to Hawai‘i from the Northwest where he earned a bachelor’s degree in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of Washington-Tacoma in 2016. During his time in college, he served as an athletic trainer and strength coach and was also an assistant coach for the varsity boy’s team at this alma mater, Puyallup High School.

Lyons graduated in 2011 from Puyallup where he was a three-sport athlete. He competed in football and track and was a three-year starter on the varsity basketball team. He is currently pursuing his master’s in coaching and athletic administration at UH.
