University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

Former Rainbow Warrior standout Gibson Johnson is in his third season with the UH basketball staff and first as the program's director of player development. Johnson fosters the growth of UH's student-athletes both on and off the court, and will work in a number of other areas, including alumni relations, marketing, team nutrition, strength and conditioning, scouting and recruiting.

HIGHLIGHTS

• A two-year co-captain at UH from 2016-18.
• Earned all-Big West honorable mention as a junior.
• Concluded career ninth all-time at UH in field goal percentage (.524).
• Prior to UH, was an all-region player and won a junior college national championship with Salt Lake Community College.
