Dominic Drury begins his first season as a graduate manager with the Rainbow Warriors staff. Drury will serve as the team’s marketing coordinator and will oversee the team’s managers. He will also assist with team video, facility scheduling, stat analysis, scouting, player development, and practice preparation.
Drury comes to UH from Saint Mary’s in California, where he served as a manager for four seasons, including two years as the head student manager. While there, he managed day-to-day operations for practices, games, travel and the locker room, and served as the team’s assistant video coordinator. He also assisted with recruiting, player development, marketing, and summer camps.
Saint Mary’s went 109-27 during his time there—the best-ever four-year stretch for the program—and reached the postseason in each of his four years with the Gaels. In 2017, the college honored Drury with the Mike Gibbons Volunteer of the Year Award for his tireless work with the men’s basketball team and with other programs throughout the school’s athletics department.
Drury earned a degree in kinesiology (sport and recreation management) from Saint Mary’s in the spring of 2018 and is currently pursuing his master’s in sports administration.
