Clay Wilson joined the Rainbow Warrior staff as an assistant coach in September 2025.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Boasts more than a half dozen years of coaching experience with stops in the Big XII, WCC, Ivy League and Conference USA.
  • In two seasons at North Texas, helped the program win a total of 56 games, including a 31-win campaign in 2022-23 that resulted in both a CUSA championship and an NIT title.  
  • Part of a 2023-24 Texas Tech squad that rose to No. 15 nationally with six wins over ranked squads in the ultra-competitive Big 12.
  • Helped recruit and develop numerous all-conference players at Cornell, including the program’s first NBA player in 15 years in Chris Manon.
  • A four-year letterwinner at Princeton (2011-15).
  • A team-captain and a member of two postseason teams in 2012 and ‘14.
  • Following his collegiate career, Wilson played professionally for four years in Germany, New Zealand, Latvia and Estonia.
