2016 (Senior): Appeared in all 14 games as the team’s punter, as well as kicking off and kicking field goals/extra points...was a perfect 13-for-13 on field goals breaking Jason Elam’s single-season FG percentage record...connected on six kicks beyond 36 yards, including a career-long 55-yarder at Michigan (Sept. 3)...matched his career high with a perfect 3-for-3 performance against Boise State (Nov. 12)...was near perfect on PAT attempts, converting on 49-of-50, making a career-high seven versus Middle Tennessee in the Hawai‘i Bowl (Dec. 24)...punted 70 times for 3,122 yards and a 44.6 ypp average...set UH’s career punt average record (44.8)...ranked second among Mountain West punters and 10th nationally...booted a season-long 57-yarder at San Diego State (Nov. 5), recording 20 punts over 50 yards...induced 21 fair catches and pinned opponents inside their own 20 on 21 occasions, logging only four touchbacks...kicked off 71 times for a 61.0 average, tallying 25 touchbacks with several strategic kicks outside the endzone...named MW Special Teams Player of the Week on Oct. 10, following his six-punt, two-field goal performance at San José State (Oct. 8)...selected to the team’s leadership council...received the Coach Dick Tomey Special Teams MVP Award at the annual Na Koa football banquet...received all-MW Honorable Mention...participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
2015 (Junior): Appeared in 12 games as punter and placekicker, as well as eight games making kickoffs...one of only five athletes nationally who handled all four kicking duties for their programs...punted 74 times for 3,335 yards, the second-most season punt yards and fifth-most punts on record at UH...he averaged 45.1 yards per punt, the fourth-best UH single-season average on record...his average also ranked third in the Mountain West and 13th nationally...punting only twice for touchbacks, he recorded 25 kicks over 50 yards, placed 28 punts inside the opposing 20-yard line and induced 18 fair catches...was recognized on the Ray Guy Award watch list...tied for the fifth-longest punt in UH history with a 73-yarder versus Air Force (Oct. 31), highlighting a 52.0 YPP performance which earned Ray Guy Punter of the Week nationally...registered a season-high nine punts in the season-opening win over Colorado (Sept. 3) with 400 yards and a 44.4 average...as field-goal kicker, he converted 8-of-11 attempts on the year with a long of 50 yards at Nevada (Oct. 24)...he was also successful twice from 47, at New Mexico (Oct. 17) and Nevada, and once from 49 at UNM...two of his misses were from 49 and 52 yards...made 23-of-24 extra-point kicks, converting a season-high 5-of-6 versus UC Davis (Sept. 19)...kicked off 22 times for 1,412 yards and a 64.2-yard average, registering 14 touchbacks...he kicked off a season-high six times for 372 yards and three touchbacks at New Mexico...also had a pair of three-touchback games at UNLV (Nov. 7) and versus Fresno State (Nov. 14)...converted a perfectly-placed and successful on-side kick against San José State, the first for UH since 2009...led all UH scorers with 47 points...named all-Mountain West honorable mention...earned UH Special Teams Player of the Year award.
Prior To UH: Played two seasons at Butte College in California…was second in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) in scoring in 2013 with 109 points, putting up school records of 76-for-77 on extra points and 11 field goals…also made 43-of-44 PATs with 11 field goals in 2012…set a school record for career field goals with 22 and a program-long 54-yard field goal (2012)…longest field goal in 2013 was 50 yards, also connecting on a 45-yard kick…served as punter for BC as well, registering a 38.5-yard average on 50 punts, with a long of 60 and 13 dropped inside the 20.…named first team all-California Region I on offense.
Prep: A 2012 graduate of Hamilton High School in California…kicked under Ryan Bentz, combined for 10 made field goals between his junior and senior campaigns, with 50-of-59 PATs…longest field goal made was 57 yards…named to MaxPreps California Division IV all-state first team as a 2012 senior…earned first-team all-Northern Section honors…also lettered twice in soccer and earned all-league honors…was a merit roll student.
