COACHING HIGHLIGHTS

In his first year at UH, guided a unit that helped UH finish in the top 25 nationally in interceptions (17th) and passing yards allowed (21st).
Spent two years as a graduate assistant at TCU under Gary Patterson, one of the top defensive minds in the country.
Assisted in coaching the strong safeties, including a pair of All-Americans in Trevon Moehrig and Ar’Darius Washington.
The Horned Frogs led the Big 12 in total and pass defense in his two seasons as a GA.
Helped TCU to two bowl game wins, including the 2017 season in which the Horned Frogs went 11-3, advanced to the Big 12 Championship game and finished ninth in the AP poll.

PLAYING EXPERIENCE

PLAYING HIGHLIGHTS

A two-time all-Pac-12 honorable mention linebacker at Arizona State.
Served as a team captain for two seasons.
Named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention twice.
Played in three bowl games and was a key member of the 2014 squad that won 10 games and finished the season ranked 12 in the country.
