  • Utah State holds a 13-6 advantage in the all-time series.

INDIVIDUAL STREAKS/TRENDS
  • Brayden Schager extended his school-record streak of 33 straight starts at quarterback, a streak that dates back to 2022.
  • Saturday’s game marked just the third time in his last 33 games in which Schager did not throw at least one touchdown.
  • Sophomore receiver Pofele Ashlock has caught a pass in all 23 games he has played in during his career. 
 
TEAM NOTES
  • UH surrendered season highs in points (55), total yards (580), rushing yards (321), yards per play (7.8), first downs (27) and passing touchdowns (4).
  • Utah State’s 55 points were the most by a UH opponent since Oregon defeated the Warriors by an identical 55-10 score last season.
  • Utah State ripped off six runs of 20 or more yards. UH entered Saturday having given up just seven such rushes in 10 games.
  • UH has allowed an average of 18.0 points in six home games as opposed to 35.0 points in fiveroad contests.
  • A total of 12 different players caught a pass for UH, including the first career catch for Blaze Kamoku.
  • The Rainbow Warriors tossed five interceptions (Brayden Schager -3, John-Keawe Sagapoluete -2) , their most since a 2022 home loss to Western Kentucky.
  • UH gave up seven sacks against the Aggies. 35 of UH’s 43 sacks allowed on the year have occurred in the last seven contests.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
  • True freshman Micah Alejado saw his first extensive action of the season and finished 11-of-12 for 111 yards and one touchdown in second-half action.
  • Alejado threw his first career touchdown on a 44-yard pass to Dekel Crowdus in the fourth quarter for UH’s lone touchdown of the game.
  • It was the second straight week that Crowdus scored a touchdown, after a 74-yard TD catch vs. UNLV. Crowdus is averaging 23.3 yards on 15 catches this season with 3 TDs.
  • Kansei Matsuzawa nailed a 40-yard field goal in the second quarter, marking the second straight week he hit a field goal of at least 40 yards. For the season, Matsuzawa is 11-of-14 on field goals, including 2-of-3 on attempts of 40 yards or longer.
  • With his 40-yard pass to Cenacle in the first quarter, Brayden Schager surpassed 9,000 career passing yards, just the fourth UH quarterback to reach the milestone. The senior stands at 9,096 career passing yards.
  • Spencer Curtis made his first career start as a Rainbow Warrior and finished with two catches for 36 yards.
  • Nalu Emerson’s career-high 14 tackles were the most by a UH player this season and the most since Logan Taylor’s 16 vs. Colorado State in 2022.
  • Cam Stone recorded his second interception of the year and third as a Rainbow Warrior with his first quarter pick of Spencer Petras.
  • Elijah Palmer recorded his first interception of the year and the third of his career with his interception late in the second quarter.
  • Sophomore defensive lineman Malachi Finau made his first career start and finished with three tackles, including 1.5 for loss and one sack.
