SERIES INFORMATION
  • Hawai‘i and UNLV met for the 26th time and the 13th time in Honolulu.
  • The road team won for the first time in the last eight meetings.
  • UH moved to 6-29 all-time in Mountain West games, 4-15 in Mountain West home games.
STREAKS                                      
  • Hawai‘i has lost their last five Homecoming games. Their last Homecoming win came in 2011.
  • Dejon Allen made his 31st straight start, the longest on the offensive side of the ball. 
 
TEAM NOTES
  • The highest attendance for a UH game since the 2014 season opener versus Washington.
  • The loss drops UH’s overall record to 3-4 and its conference record to 2-1.
  • With Dru Brown’s fourth quarter fumble, UH has turned the ball over at least once in each game this season and in 16 straight dating back to last season.
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES
  • Paul Harris returned the opening kick 75 yards, marking his longest career kick return.
  • Diocemy Saint Juste’s 55-yard rush on a draw in the first quarter was his third rush of over 50 yards this season.
  • Saint Juste’s fourth-quarter receiving touchdown from the 7-yard line was the first of his career.
  • Steven Lakalaka scored twice, marking his second game this year with two rushing TDs and the third time in his career.
  • Lakalaka scored a TD in his fifth straight game and has scored in 6-of-7 games this season.
  • Lakalaka’s eight touchdowns this season is the most since Joey Iosefa also had eight in 2014. Only Iosefa, Bryant Moniz and Lakalaka have scored as many in last six years
  • Tight end Dakota Torres’ second quarter touchdown was the first of his career.
  • Marcus Kemp recorded two 38-yard receptions and has eight catches on the year over 30 yards.
  • Kemp finished with a career-high 126 yards on six catches and posted his second 100-yard game this season and of his career.
  • Kemp moved past Craig Stutzmann for 14th on the school’s all-time receiving list with 2,106.
  • Rigoberto Sanchez made a successful field goal for the fifth game this season, remaining perfect at 6-for-6 on the year.
  • Kaimana Padello’s third-quarter blocked punt was the first for a UH player since last season, Dejaun Butler vs. UC Davis.
  • Jahlani Tavai’s 14 tackles were a career-high.
  • Trayvon Henderson recorded a career-high three pass break-ups.
