Wyoming retains the Paniolo Trophy with its sixth straight win over the Rainbow Warriors. This was the first meeting between the teams since 1997.

UH has lost 13 straight road games dating back to 2011.

The last time UH started a season 0-11 was during the winless campaign of 1998 (0-12).

The 11-game losing streak is the second longest in school history.

UH is one of five remaining winless teams in the FBS this season.

UH played overtime for the second straight week and suffered its second straight loss.  It was UH’s first-ever loss in six overtime games on the road (5-1). UH dropped to 7-5 all-time in overtime.

UH‘s 56 points were the most under Norm Chow and the most since scoring 56 points against UC Davis in 2011. UH’s 35 first-half points were its most since scoring 49 first-half points vs. UC Davis in 2011.

Wyoming set a new UH opponent record with 793 total yards of offense. The previous record was 775 yards by Nevada in 1948.

Brett Smith set a new record for most individual total offense by an opponent with 640 yards (498 pass, 142 rush). The former record was 531 yards by Jeff Graham of Long Beach State in 1988.

Sean Schroeder threw for a career-high 499 yards and six touchdowns. It was the most passing yards by a UH quarterback since Bryant Moniz threw for a school-record 560 yards versus San Jose State in 2010  and the most touchdowns since Moniz’ seven tosses vs. UC Davis in 2011.

Chris Gant tied a school record with four touchdown receptions. Three others hold the record—Chad Owens vs. Northwestrn (2004), Ryan Grice-Mullen vs. New Mexico St (2005) and Jason Rivers vs. Washington (2007).

Gant scored multiple touchdowns for the third time this season with receptions of 34, 30, 29 and 33 yards. Gant has scored a team-high 10  touchdowns this year (9 rec, 1 rush). All nine of Gant’s touchdown receptions have gone for at least 20 yards and have averaged nearly 35 yards in length.

Gant set a new career high with 174 receiving yards while tying his career best for receptions (8).

Tyler Hadden had his streak of 62 consecutive PATs snapped when he failed to convert on a fourth-quarter attempt.

Senior wide receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann saw his streak to 30 straight games with a reception come to a close.
.
UH scored a touchdown on its opening drive for the first time this season following Joey Iosefa’s 2-yd run.

Iosefa finished with touchdown runs of 2- and 15-yards and has scored in each of the last three games since his return to the lineup.
