UH has lost 11 straight road games, including eight straight conference road games, dating back to 2011.
 
The last time UH started a season 0-8 was during the winless campaign of 1998 (0-12).
 
The eight-game losing streak is tied for the second longest in school history.
 
UH is one of five remaining winless teams in the FBS this season.

UH scored on its opening drive for just the second time in eight games when Tyler Hadden nailed a 33-yard field goal.
 
UH trailed at the half for the sixth time in eight games this year.
 
UH gave up a defensive touchdown for the second straight game and fifth time this season when Kyler Frackell returned an interception 99 yards in the third quarter.
 
Senior wide receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann extended his streak to 28 straight games with a reception following his 26-yard catch in the second quarter. Stutzmann finished with two catches for 31 yards.
 
Sean Schroeder saw his string of fourth straight 300-yard games come to an end. Schroeder finished 13-for-26 for 213 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.
 
Freshman Keith Kirkwood scored his third touchdown of the season on a 33-yard catch in UH’s opening drive of the second half.
 
Tavita Woodard recorded his first interception of the season and second of his career (also at Colorado State, 2012) with his third-quarter pick of Darell Garretson.
 
UH tied its season high with 12 tackles-for-loss, including three by Art Laurel.
 
Safety Charles Clay recorded a career-high 14 tackles, the most by a Rainbow Warrior this year.
 
Joey DeMartino became the third straight opponent to rush for 100 yards against UH with 104 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries.
 
Senior Daniel Masifilo made his first career start at cornerback. It was just Masifilo’s second game on defense after making the switch from wide receiver. Masiflo finished with one tackle.
 
Marrell Jackson made his return to the lineup after missing last week’s game versus Colorado State, but was ejected in the first series of the game following a targeting penalty.
 
Sean Schroeder and John Hardy-Tuliau served as team captains during the coin toss.
