Colorado State leads the series 12-9, including an 8-2 mark in Fort Collins. CSU has won seven of the last eight meetings including the last four straight. The Rams have won the last five games held in Fort Collins, Colo.
The Warriors remain winless in four conference games this year and have dropped their last seven conference games overall dating back to last year.
The last time UH started a season 1-6 was in 2000, when it finished the regular season 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the Western Athletic Conference.
UH is off to its first 0-4 conference start since 2009 when the Warriors dropped their first five
WAC games.

UH is 0-3 on the road this year, surrendering 47.5 ppg.
UH scored 14 first-quarter points against Colorado State. UH entered the game having scored 10 total first-quarter points in its six previous games.
Sophomore running back Joey Iosefa returned to action after missing the last four games with a foot injury. Iosefa tallied a career-high 106 yards rushing on 22 carries.
Iosefa is the first player to crack 100 yards rushing this year and the first Warrior to reach the plateau since Bryant Moniz rushed for 120 yards in the 2011 season opener vs. Colorado. Alex Green was the last UH running back to hit 100 yards in a game (2010, vs. UNLV)
UH forced its first turnover forced in four Mountain West games and scored its first defensive touchdown this year when freshman linebacker Jerrol Garcia-Williams returned a CSU fumble 12 yards early in the first quarter.
It was UH’s first fumble recovery for a touchdown since Richard Torres’ 57-yard touchdown return vs. Idaho in 2010.
The Warriors forced a season high five turnovers – three fumble recoveries and two interceptions. The last time they forced that many turnovers was in in a road loss at SJSU (six turnovers forced) last year.
UH blocked its second punt this season when Marrell Jackson stuffed a 3
rd quarter attempt by Colorado State.
UH had two interceptions returned for a touchdown. The Warriors have surrendered four touchdowns this year on interception returns.
Sean Schroeder tallied his first career rushing touchdown on a quarterback sneak on a fourth down in the second quarter.
In his first career start, junior linebacker Brenden Daley recorded his first interception to stall a CSU drive late in the second half. Tavita Woodard also notched his first career interception in the third quarter.
Junior wide receiver Chris Gant made his second start of the season and had an 8-yard scoring reception, his second of the year, to put UH up 14-7 in the first quarter.
UH has yet to score on an opening drive in seven games this year.
UH dropped to 10-9 since 2000 in games following bye weeks.
Sophomore Kody Afusia made his first career start at left guard for UH, while middle linebacker Brenden Daley also made his first start as a Warrior. UH has had 28 different first-time Division I starters this year – 13 on offense and 15 on defense – the most of any team in the nation.
