Hawai‘i vs. Tulsa – Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl

-UH made its 10th all-time major bowl appearance and fell to 5-5 record. The Warriors have lost its last three bowl games (2008 Hawai‘i Bowl, 2008 Sugar Bowl).
 
-UH dropped to 3-3 all-time in the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl and lost in its second straight appearance (2008 vs. Notre Dame, 49-21).
 
-Tulsa’s 62 points were a Hawai‘i Bowl record and the most points against a UH team since a 63-17 loss to No. 1 USC in 2005. 
 
-UH was shutout in the first quarter for just the second time in 14 games this season (also at Boise State, Nov. 6)
 
-Slot receiver Greg Salas finished with 13 catches for a career-high 214 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 
-Salas set new single-season records for receptions (119) and receiving yards (1,889). He also extended his career receiving yards mark to 4,345 yards.
 
-Salas recorded his 10th 100 yard-receiving game this season and 19th of his career.
 
-Salas ended his career catching a pass in 41 straight games dating back to his sophomore season.
 
-Junior quarterback Bryant Moniz threw for 411 yards passing and became just the second UH player to surpass 5,000 passing yards in a season, finishing with 5,040. Colt Brennan holds the single-season record with 5,549 yards (2006).
 
-Moniz recorded a career-long 34-yard run in second quarter and threw for a career-high four interceptions.
 
-Senior placekicker Scott Enos nailed five PATs to total 71 for the season and surpassed Dan Kelly (70) for a new single-season mark.
 
- Enos extended his school record of consecutive PATs to 105 straight in his two seasons at UH.
 
- Wide receiver Royce Pollard tied a career-high with eight receptions for a career-high 129 yards.
 
-Sophomore receiver Jeremiah Ostrowski’s 54-yard catch in the third quarter was a career long. Ostrowski finished with two catches for 74 yards after entering the game with two career receptions for 22 yards.
 
-UH failed to record an interception and saw its streak of 10 straight games with at least two interceptions come to an end.
