2010-11 (Sophomore): Sophomore post player enjoyed an outstanding season in his first year as a Rainbow Warrior…started 31 games in the post...one of just two players to play in every game...team leader in rebounding (8.2 rpg) and double-doubles (8)...second on the team in blocks (40)…also averaged 9.5 ppg...shot 52 percent from the field…ramped up his play in WAC games, averaging 11.9 ppg and team-high 9.1 rpg…season-high 16 rebounds in win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 24)...11 rebounds and three blocks at Cal Poly (Dec. 1)...first career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds against No. 21 BYU (Dec. 4)...went 4-of-4 from the floor and 2-of-2 from the line en route to 10 points against Hawai‘i Pacific (Dec. 11)...eight points, eight rebounds and three blocks in win over Chicago State (Dec. 17)...nine points and 11 rebounds in win over Mississippi State (Dec. 25)...22 points, while adding 13 rebounds, at Nevada (Dec. 31)...12 points and eight rebounds against Boise State (Jan. 8)...12 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks at New Mexico State (Jan. 13)...nine points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in win at Louisiana Tech (Jan. 15)...13 points and 10 rebounds, including 10 key points down the stretch, in win vs. Fresno State (Jan. 20)...11 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in all 40 minutes in road win at Boise State (Feb. 3)...14 points and 14 rebounds at Idaho (Feb. 5)...keyed UH’s overtime win over Nevada (Feb. 14), scoring a career-high 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting...also added nine rebounds...18 points, 15 rebounds and career-high five blocks vs. New Mexico State (Feb. 26)...11 points and 10 rebounds for eighth double-double of the year in CIT first-round win over Portland (March 15).
 
Prior to UH: Attended College of Eastern Utah in Price, Utah, as a freshman…a key contributor on a Golden Eagles squad that went 27-10 overall and finished third in the NJCAA Tournament...averaged 8.9 ppg and 6.9 rpg and led the team with 31 blocks...posted seven double-doubles.
 
Prep: A 2009 graduate of Mountain State Academy in Beckley, West Va…a native of Angola, came to the United States in 2007 and attended Christian High School in El Cajon, Calif., for his junior season…averaged 21.1 ppg while shooting 54.3 percent from the floor and 69.5 percent from the free- throw line…led the league with 16.8 rebounds per contest and posted 89 blocked shots (3.2 bpg)…played senior season at Mountain State Academy…selected to the Basketball Without Borders Africa camp in 2006 and ’07, in which the top 100 players from 28 countries on the continent were selected to participate by FIBA and the NBA….also played in the Lusophony Games as a member of the Angolan National Team in 2006.
